Here is the promised information on sites pertaining to WWII. I have run across some really interesting ones that might help if you are looking for information on a relative who served during WWII. The National Museum of the Pacific War in Fredericksburg, TX the home of Admiral Nimitz,  provides some great information. I have used both of these sites along with our access to Fold 3. Sometimes, I just view them for fun and not any specific information, so if you are a history buff or World War II enthusiast you might enjoy just looking at the sites to see what they offer. Be sure to check out NationalWW2museum.org and www.pacificwarmuseum.org. Also, don’t forget the World War II museum in New Orleans, Louisiana I mentioned previously!
